Ciel Circus Version! Finally decided to get his costume!

Some background knowledge: Ciel is the one who inspired me to take up cosplaying. Me and deardear (liyin) started chatting about cosplay (randomly) last year march during choir! xD At first it was just pretty much crapping because i never thought its possible to actually venture into the cosplay world. But that little conversation brought me here to where i am. (Not very far, but at least i started!) Was still sms-ing deardear after choir and we narrowed down to the characters we wanted to cosplay. She chose Lenalee from D.Gray and i settled on Ciel from Kuroshitsuji. I've always wanted to try crossdressing so... Plus, ciel is so cute! Another choice was Yuuki because i'm in love with Vampire Knight too. Okay around June, i stumbled upon taobao and i was totally elated when i realised i could order costumes from there. Saw Yuuki costume and decided to get it as my first cosplay because mainly, i could use my real hair if i'm cosplaying as her. For ciel, i would need to buy a wig. My costume arrived around July. This may seem dumb but i bought other costume too (I haven't started cosplaying yet!)
Anyway, list of costumes that i currently own:
-Shakugan no Shana (Winter Seifuku)
-Shakugan no Shana (Summer Seifuku)
-Vampire Knight (Day Class Girl Uni)
-Vampire Knight (Night Class Guy Uni)
-Jigoku Shoujo (Seifuku)

My first event was EOY 2009. Cosplayed as Yuuki Kuran while deardear went as Yoshida from Shakugan no Shana. It was kinda fun as we saw alot of nice cosplayers but there are some who failed a little. Here's the interesting part: i took a picture with kaname (Mi-ke nii) on EOY! And that's way before i knew him. Kinda interesting how fate can tie people who totally don't know each other together huh. So i came home from EOY feeling totally refreshed and determined to join a group. Well, i saw groups on that day and it seemed so much fun!

Sourced SGcafe and i happened to pop in some random threads that's talking about views on cosplay. I submitted a post there and coincidently, Deidre was there too. She introduced me to my current VK group and i joined the group! Deidre came by my house the following thursday (after EOY) to help me with spraying the rods. Next event was the walkshoot on 17jan. Deardear went with me. That's where i get to know Mi-ke nii, KaiXiang, Vivian and Amber. 17 January 2010 really is one of the best days ever! Had so much fun that day. But reached home quite late (around 11pm+) and mama told me that next time, if going out on Sunday must come home before 10pm. Hope all photoshoots in the future will be held on saturday instead! ><

Oh and there's SOY too! But sadly, deardear didnt go to this event! Didn't really enjoy this event much because i was being pulled around half the time... Sigh yes, i really was dragged around by Vivian... She's younger than me BUT she's fweaking taller and bigger sized than me so you get the message... SOY was basically Deidre and Vivian looking at the merchandise while me and joey chatting. But its during SOY where i get an experience of a princess hold! Sadly, its not a guy D< Deidre tried carrying me using the princess hold and boy, did i yell... She really did lift me up! NEXT, Vivian tried carrying me up too and yes, i screamed again... But she basically just hug me and lift me up. Princess hold require more strength because the whole body is resting on the arms only! So SOY is where i experience my first first princess hold. Hope i'll have more in the future! :D

That basically sum up my short short history as a cosplayer. And okay back to topic. I'm finally realising my dream of cosplaying Ciel! Its because of him that i met mi-ke nii, deidre, kaixiang and all the others. Because of him, i realised that i'm not bounded to school mates. Because of him, i found a new passion. Because of him, i had so much fun. Its because of him, that i'm here today, typing this post. So cosplaying as ciel is a dream come true! But i'm joining Deidre group. Is that supposed to be good or bad? You decide (:







I JUST WALKED STRAIGHT INTO THE DOOR! It's damn retarded... I switched off all the lights in the living room and went to mama and papa room to put some stuff. The door was closed but i didn't notice it because i thought they turn off all their lights and i bang straight into it! It made a damn loud sound and it scared the wits out of me but thank god my hand was infront so i didn't crash my head onto the door... Okay, stop laughing now... stop laughing... stopstopstop! I SAID STOP LAUGHING! Tsktsk... Back to today's events:








I finally bought my guy shoes! -happy happy!- But sadly, it's loose... Think will wear other shoes to the location before changing into that pair. CROSS DRESSING! ♥







Common Tests officially ended for the upper sec today! -screams- Am totally high after the physic paper! But sadly lessons were pretty boring for the day except for biology, which happens to be the last lesson for the week! Had a lot of laughs during biology because miss chng's drawing seriously cracks me up. Went to meet up with deardear after school. Didn't walk with her for such a long time ... Met up with mi-ke nii and had lunch together. Ordered Tom Yam Ban Mien with deardear. Or rather, she ordered with me since i said i wanted to eat that. xD Deardear went to buy ice milo after that. Tom Yam Ban Mien + Ice Milo = Oishii! Always had this combo when lunching at that coffee shop. Mi-ke nii ate chicken chop + pao! Hahahaha ohoh and green tea! :D Can't finish my mien or milo... Its not my fault okay! There really is alot! I ate so much already but still cannot finish... -sticks out tongue- MRT-ed home alone ):

Common Tests are officially starting today! Took chinese and english paper today. Surprisingly, chinese was not that bad except that i don't know how to write some words! It's not in the handbook so oh wells. English was okay too but i only wrote one and a half page. -.-"

All hell broke loose during break! Everyone started laughing while we're eating... Cheryl started commenting on the otah and i laughed till i almost choked... HENTAI CHERYL! Details not posted as it's really hentai... Next we started talking about Junsu trip to singapore in may. I think glenda is going to buy the tickets and it included meet and greet sessions. I joked about glenda grabbing his head and forcing him to kiss her and pretended to grab someone's head and pulling it towards myself. EVERYONE STARTED LAUGHING and what's worse is that amanda, sitting beside me, is still chewing on something and she spit some out before rushing to the sink. I leaned towards xuanlin's side while screaming at the same time... Screaming and laughing really kills. Cecilia, sitting on the other side of amanda also quickly checked if her skirt got stained by amanda's unfinished food.

This scene reminded me of that time when cheryl's retainer fell on her skirt; it was on cheryl's skirt originally. Totally hilarious! Amanda was somehow half lying on the bench when she saw cheryl's retainer on cecilia's skirt. Started laughing to herself and it took her a while before she told us what's going on. Cecilia screamed for cheryl to take the retainers off her skirt. And the rest of us bursted out laughing! Its seriously those times where we laughed till we cried.

Anyway, amanda came back after washing her mouth and we've almost calmed down. Walked back to class after that and i don't know what happen but cheryl started laughing again once we're in class. Her mouth was filled with water and she was trying hard not to spit out! Everyone was shunning her and in the end, she spit her water back into her water bottle! I'm totally laughing till i'm crying... Plus, the floor has spots where she accidentally spit the water out! Oh my gosh and she spit some water near my place too!

All in all, today was seriously great! Didn't had such a great laugh in a long time!







STUDY GROUP! Totally fail... badly i might add.

Let's start all the way from the top. Hmm, tune memory back to 8am... Woke up at 8am and woke papa up to ask him to steam lor mai kai for me. xP Long Time No Eat ♥ It was absolutely scrumptious! Surf the net for a while before bathing. I thought that the time to meet them (Kit Yarn, Yew Wei, Wen Xi and Zhee Yong) was 11am but turns out it is 11.30am instead... Slacked at home for a while before going off and amazingly i was late although i've supposingly 'prepared' everything I've forgotten that i've placed my EZ-Link card in mama's pouch and did not realise it till i got to the mrt station! Totally in a panicking state; rushing here and there. Reached woodlands mrt at around 11.45am. Sorry for being so late!

Walked to woodlands library and sat down on the fourth level's floor because all the seats were taken D< Managed to do one maths question before getting chased out by one of the staffs (Not allowed to seat on floors) Roamed about for seats and we settled for the third level... floor! But this time, there're other people sitting on the floor too so i guess the librarians could not really be bothered. Managed to do just one more question before we started chatting about other things... Only spent around an hour there before moving on to Burger King for lunch. Ate finish a whole burger and was super uber full! Glenda came while we were eating halfway and joined us for lunch. Went to Comics Connection after that. Glenda and Amanda was totally wow-ing at the stuff there. When i left, they're still not done with their purchases!

Took the other route to bugis today (via Jurong East) and i think that it is longer... Next time should take the usual route instead (via Orchard). Totally sleepy during the train ride... should've followed LiYin's advice and go sleep in the mrt toilet xD. Reached Bugis at 4.10pm and mi-ke nii was late! Reached around 4.30pm and we went to some place (just found out it's called burlington square) before heading off to the library. Now, here's the nice part. Reached national library and walked straight to the basement but there are no seats available. We then explored (almost!) the whole library! Taking escalators and lifts up and down. We're like some humans who never took the escalators or lifts before... Spent close to an hour 'exploring' the library before deciding on the 5th level. Hmm, revised maths and a little bit of chinese... I got bored and mi-ke nii lent me his lappy! He studied till 9pm before we left the library cause it's closing. Went to a food court to eat dinner. Mi-ke nii ordered korean food while i ate pocky :3 strawberry flavoured! Pocky was damn sweet and rushed for his miso soup... Fatal mistake... soup is extremely salty! sweet and salty don't really go well together -.-"  Here's some pictures :

Okay, that's about it. Next week common tests. Sigh. Mugging time!







NEVER EVER PEEL THE SKIN ON TOP OF YOUR FINGERS.
Tried peeling it today... Results: One whole piece of skin came off; length: close to a cm... Totally freaked out! Blood was accumulating like mad but i waited for a painful 10minutes before rushing to the toilet to wash it off. Shrieked when i placed my poor finger underneath the running tap... Rushing water on an open wound really hurts ):
Dried my wet finger under the hand dryer and put a tweety plaster over it! It's hard to bend that finger... Was biting my lips to stop myself from screaming when i accidentally touched it. YES IT'S THAT PAINFUL. -cries-







1st day of lunar new year: Went to mommy's mommy house first and had lunch there! Ate yu sheng there too! But they replaced salmon with abalone so don't really like as i do prefer salmon. Went to ah ma's house after that and played Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball on Xbox. The girls are pretty! Ate a lot of stuff there too but i didn't get to eat mien xian! >< After that went to mommy's ah ma house. Collected quite a few hong baos there. After that home-d!








12th February. 2 more days to valentine and Chinese new year! Baked cookies and muffins till 1.30am today.. Reached school and gave out to tomodachi! Received lots of presents this year too. ^^ Lessons started and Chinese was a total bore... Went to the empty seat in front of cheryl at the back and sat there. Was half playing and half listening during Chinese. xD English was next and it's equally boring... Gave out gifts during break and received more! Thanks so much! All of you (: Went to hall for concert and it's rather boring! But there's something interested though. The person cosing as Auntie Lucy dropped his wig! The whole crowd totally burst out in laughter... Hehehe.








A great day for a happy me! Shall make this post a short one because i haven't had my dinner and the show is almost ending.. First today started out with Chinese but the teacher didn't come! -Happy Dance- Then maths... I was expecting to fail maths but i got a 13 out of 20marks! I'm so happy that i shrieked. I really thought i'll fail... Went down to eat during break. Went to hall to make the ic and that cut short Joy Koh's lessons by almost one whole period... Didn't do much for english. History was next and i got an 8/13 for my first essay! I'm ecstatic! Lowest was 2 and highest was 10 but i'm very happy that i've passed... Social studies was alright. Teresa Kee lessons are interesting. She said i did not bad for my social studies essay... Hope i'll get an 8 or above...

After school lunched at subway with JiaEn and LiYin. Bought all my ingredients at NTUC before coming home. Took me a painful 3 hours to get everything done.. Now my kitchen is filled with flour but it smells heavenly~ Thinking will be making some more batter later.

Chinese and History test today. The last section of the chinese test killed alot of people and i was one of those poor guys... ): History test was also a killer because i didn't really studied the League of Nations and it came out... Was busy cramming for Treaty of Versailles (♥) yesterday...

Tomorrow there's an outing for Secondary 3 choristers... Contemplating whether to go or not...

I can't believe that SOY was just last saturday... It seemed as if it's 2 to 3 weeks ago.. This week had really been a long week indeed.







2nd February. Started out with Biology. Next PE! Ran around the school field for a while before playing volley ball. And something unexpected happen... The damn volleyball smacked me right on top of my head! I totally lost balance and sat on the ground, blurred. Really didn't expect myself to get butted by a volleyball. Then physic! The test was uber easy -.-" can't believe i was worried over such an issue... Break went down to eat my apple cream bread! Oishii desu!








First day of the week. This is week 5 of Year 2010. Time really flies...

First up was english! Had spelling and didn't really do anything else. PE had to run as i think because we're late for lessons. I hate running... Social Studies Test was postphoned to Wednesday! Kinda having mixed feelings about it because i wanted to have it over and done with but i'm scared of the test... Then is chemistry. I almost feel asleep during the lesson but as i was about to nod off, the table suddenly jerked. Turns out that someone sent an sms to me and boy, did it jolt me up. That sms was sent by Mi-ke nii so thanks very much. xD I was seriously about to fell asleep at that point in time already...

Went down for break and ate melon pan! Oishii desu ne!

Then Malay! Had fun playing there and i didn't know what the teacher was talking about at all... Physic was after that and we went for physic spa! I think it's quite fun as we had to do the experiment all by ourself.. Tomorrow there's a physic test so i'm cramming for it now! D: Wish me luck peeps! Maths was after lunch and time passes fast too. Before i knew it, a school day is over. xD

Bought double cheeseburger home today and i sort of eat the burger over 2 time slot.. Because i ate the burger at 4.30pm and i was only halfway through when it's 4.45pm. Meeting Simeon at 5pm so needa wrap the burger up and set off to meet him to pass him his wig. Came back at around 5.15pm and finished the rest of my burger. Supposed to be my lunch but then it makes me damn full even till now. So i really don't know how to finish my dinner later! I'll just eat a little of this and that. xD AND i still can't decide getting a white bob or a brown bob... ><"
